With recently approved Ordinances 251100 and 251101, SF is putting two tiny Mission Dolores pockets, Chula-Abbey and Alert Alley, into a preservation bubble. If you own or manage property nearby, expect more historic review and more “ask Planning first” for street-visible work.

Ordinance 251101 would create a new Article 10 Historic District in the Mission Dolores Neighborhood. If approved, exterior alterations within this district would be required to go through more extensive preservation review.

Ordinance 251082 creates the Fillmore Entertainment Zone.

This ordinance is part of the Mayor's PermitSF initiative, intended to streamline permitting and to help small businesses. The ordinance includes various Public Works (DPW) changes including elimination of permits for cafe tables/chairs, sidewalk merchandise displays, and Minor Street Encroachments for many building elements.

This ordinance would waive permit, license, and registration fees for new small businesses opening a commercial business in San Francisco. It also waives fees for small businesses expanding into a new location.

This ordinance requires all concrete buildings be evaluated for seismic safety and sets a schedule by which reports and studies must be submitted to the City.

This San Francisco Ordinance would expand the Central Neighborhoods Large Residence SUD into Corona Heights. Single family homes would be limited to 3,000 gsf within this district.
