APPROVED: Ordinance 250211: Concrete Building Seismic Safety

UPDATE: This ordinance was approved and signed by the Mayor on 9-5-25.

Ordinance 250211 was introduced on 3-4-25 by Supervisors Mandelman and Melgar.

This legislation creates a required program for all concrete buildings to be evaluated for seismic safety standards. Surveys of the properties and filings of reports to the city are required as part of this program, but any seismic upgrades made will be strictly voluntary.
