Ordinance 251101: New Historic District

Ordinance 251101 was introduced on 10-31-25 by Supervisor Mandelman.

This ordinance would create a new Article 10 Historic District in the Mission Dolores Neighborhood (Alert Alley Early Residential Historic District). The proposed district would be centered on Alert Alley and Landers Street including 21 properties.

The Historic Preservation Commission voted to recommend approval of this district on October 15, 2025. If approved by the Board of Supervisors, exterior changes to properties within this district would be required to go through extensive preservation reviews.
