This ordinance would make the graffiti abatement pilot program permanent. Public Works would be able to perform graffiti abatement on private properties at no cost to property owners, upon request.

This ordinance is part of the Mayor's PermitSF initiative, intended to streamline permitting and to help small businesses. The ordinance, tied to approval of Ordinance 250541, would eliminate DPW fees for cafe table/chairs, merchandise displays, and various projections from the face of the building into the right of way.

Ordinance 250634: Commercial Use Sizes
This ordinance relaxes limits on commercial use sizes in some NCD zones, eliminating the need for Conditional Use for larger businesses. It would also allow large spaces to be subdivided in all zones without conditional use, even if the reduced spaces exceed sf limits in that zone.
