APPROVED: Ord 230734: Density in RC, RTO, NC, and NCD Districts

Updated: Nov 15, 2024

UPDATE: This ordinance was approved by the Board of Supervisors on 10-29-24 and signed by the Mayor on 11-7-24.

Ordinance 230734 was introduced on 6-13-23 by the Mayor and Co-Sponsored by Supervisor Melgar.

This legislation would change density requirements in RC, RTO, NC, and some NCD districts to form-based density rather than by units per sf of lot area except in the Priority Equity Geography SUD. If passed, density would only be limited by height, bulk, setbacks, open space, exposure, and unit mix requirements. It's believed this will increase density in these districts.
