UPDATE: This ordinance was filed on 6-2-25. The Board of Supervisors passed this legislation on 12-2-25.

Ordinance 250700 was introduced on 6-2-25 by Mayor Lurie and Co-Sponsored by Supervisors Dorsey, Sauter, and Mahmood.

This ordinance is part of the State Mandated requirement to permit construction of 82,000 new residential units. In order to meet this increase in housing, the city will increase heights and densities along major corridors, primarily on the West Side of the City.
