APPROVED: HOT: Ordinance 250701: Local Housing Bonus Program

Ordinance 250701 was introduced on 6-24-25 by Mayor Lurie.

This ordinance is tied to the citywide ReZoning plan. It creates a local program, the Housing Choice-San Francisco program, for incentives related to density, height limits, unit mix, setbacks, open space, and exposure and other project bonuses which can be used instead of the State Density Program.

It allows projects to take advantage of these incentives, not only by creating affordable housing on site, but also allows for off-site affordable housing, payment of fees, or provision of 100% rent controlled units.
