UPDATE: This ordinance is under review. The Land Use and Transportation Committee approved on 7-28-25. It will now go to the full Board for review.

Ordinance 240803 was introduced on 7-30-24 by Supervisor Melgar.

This ordinance would require the Planning Department to review all permit applications for potential illegal dwelling units. Design professionals failing to disclose the presence of illegal units would be subject to reporting to the state licensure board.
