APPROVED: SB 684: Streamlined Approvals

SB 684 was introduced by Senator Caballero on 2-16-23.

This bill would require ministerial approval of housing developments of 10 or less single-family residential units on urban lots of 5 acres or less.

This ordinance repeals the Accessible Business Entry Program in San Francisco.

If approved, this ordinance would make changes to the thresholds for sale price and qualifying income for some BMR units.

This ordinance would automatically go into effect if Proposition 33 passes requiring rent control on properties built up to 1994.
