APPROVED: Ordinance 250284: Rear Yard Structures

UPDATE: This ordinance was filed on 3-25-25. The Building Inspection Commission recommended approval on 5-23-25. It was approved and signed by the Mayor on 8-5-25.

Ordinance 250284 was introduced on 3-25-25 by Supervisor Engardio.

This ordinance would bring the Planning Code into alignment with the Building Code by allowing rear yard structures of up to 120 sf and 10' in height to be constructed within the rear yard setback. It also includes amnesty for nonconforming rear-yard structures constructed prior to 2003.
