SB-911: Transfer of Property in Fire Hazard Severity Zones

SB-911 was introduced by Senator Becker on 1-26-26.

This bill would expand existing requirements for sellers to provide buyers with information about compliance with fire safety measures and local vegetation management ordinances. In addition to notifying the buyer, the seller would also need to notify the county assessor and provide a copy of the agreement. The assessor would then need to notify the local fire department to obtain compliance documents from their department as well.
