SB 439 was introduced by Senator Skinner on 2-13-23.
This bill would allow the court to strike the whole or any part of a pleading related to the approval or permitting of a priority housing development project.
If approved, this ordinance would make changes to the thresholds for sale price and qualifying income for some BMR units.
This ordinance would automatically go into effect if Proposition 33 passes requiring rent control on properties built up to 1994.
If approved, this ordinance would allow non-licensed designers to work on some Assembly, Business, and Mercantile projects.
