SB 1055: Accessory Dwelling Unit

UPDATE: This legislation was referred to the Committee on Housing and Community Development, and the Committee on Local Government on 2-21-24. The hearing was cancelled by the committee on 3-13-24.

SB-1055 was introduced by Senator Min on 2-8-2024.

This bill would clarify that local agencies are not permitted to restrict the construction of an attached ADU unit with a height of 16'.
