AB-1933: Land Surveyor Records

UPDATE: Passed the Assembly on 5-26-26. Passed the Senate on 8-20-26. Approved and signed by the Governor on 9-18-26.

AB-1725 was introduced by Assembly member Hoover on 2-13-26.

This bill would require county surveyors to return copies of the recorded survey to the licensed engineer who provided it. It would also require a higher level of service from county surveyors when examining corner records to include specified monument identification and tagging requirements.
