Ordinance 240641: Laboratory Uses in UMU Districts

UPDATE: This ordinance was reviewed by the Planning Commission on 8-13-24 and recommended to be disapproved. No action has been taken since then.

Ordinance 240641 was introduced on 6-4-24 by Supervisors Walton, Chan, and Safai.

This ordinance would amend the Planning Code to revise the definition of Laboratory to include Biotechnology. It would make Laboratory uses prohibited within the Urban Mixed Use (UMU) Zoning District.
