Ordinance 250682: Commercial Use Expansions

UPDATE: This ordinance was filed on 6-17-25. The Land Use and Transportation Committee approved on 10-6-25. It is being forwarded to the full Board for review and is expected to pass.

Ordinance 250682 was introduced on 6-17-25 by Supervisor Sauter.

This ordinance would allow commercial uses to be larger in size within the North Beach NCD, Polk Street NCD, Pacific Avenue NCD, and Nob Hill SUD. It would also eliminate the North Beach SUD and reduce limitations on restaurants and bars in the Jackson Square SUD.
