Ordinance 250538 was introduced on 5-20-25 by Mayor Lurie and Supervisor Melgar.

Priority Processing would not eligible on projects that expand the building, construct new structures, or remove dwelling units.

Formula Retail projects would be able to use the expedited program as long as they have less than 20 other establishments.

Previously, projects within the Calle 24 SUD and the North Beach NCD would not have been eligible for expedited review, but this legislation makes projects within those districts eligible for priority processing.
