Ordinance 250257: Tourist Hotels

UPDATE: This ordinance was filed on 3-17-25. The Planning Commission recommended approval with modifications on 5-19-25.

Ordinance 250257 was introduced on 3-17-25 by Mayor Lurie.

This ordinance would allow tourist hotel and motel rooms to be used for Interim Housing for a period of 90 days when being used as a shelter for people experiencing homelessness, or at risk of homelessness without abandonment or discontinuance of the hotel use classification.
