UPDATE: This ordinance was filed on 10-29-24. It was modified heavily, but finally approved by the Board of Supervisors on 3-25-25 and signed by the Mayor on 4-3-25.

Ordinance 241067 was introduced on 10-29-24 by Mayor London Breed.

This ordinance would allow tourist hotel and motel rooms to be used for Interim Housing for a period of 90 days when being used as a shelter for people experiencing homelessness, or at risk of homelessness without abandonment or discontinuance of the hotel use classification.
