APPROVED: Ordinance 240804: Outdoor Event Permit Expansion

UPDATE: This ordinance was approved by the Board of Supervisors on 10-1-24, and signed by the Mayor on 10-11-24.

Ordinance 240804 was introduced on 7-30-24 by Supervisor Peskin.

This ordinance would expand the opportunities for outdoor events in public spaces in the greater downtown area. Rather than receiving approved permits for a single event or short period, permits for regular and ongoing outdoor events in this area may be approved.
