APPROVED: HOT: AB-976: ADU Owner-Occupancy Amendment

UPDATE: This legislation was approved and signed by the Governor on 10-11-23.

AB-976 was introduced by Assembly Member Ting on 2-14-23.

This bill would eliminate the requirement for owner-occupancy on the property where an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) was added or is proposed to be added.
