APPROVED: Ord 230701: Citywide expansion of commercial, restaurant, and retail uses

UPDATE: This ordinance was approved and signed by the Mayor on 12-14-23.

Ordinance 230701 was introduced on 6-6-23 by the Mayor and is co-sponsored by Supervisors Engardio, Dorsey, Melgar, Stefani, Mandelman, Chan, and Safai.

This legislation allows more business types on the ground floor in commercial areas, including flexible retail, professional services, restaurants, formula retail restaurants, and bars/liquor stores.
