UPDATE: This legislation was referred to the Committee on Revenue and Taxes but has been inactive since 4-11-23.

AB-362 was introduced by Assembly Member Lee on 2-1-23

This Bill would require the Department of Tax and Fee Administration to study the efficacy of the statewide land value taxation system instead of utilizing current appraisal methods used to determine taxation. This bill would require the study to be provided to the Legislature by January 1, 2025 for review.
