AB 2813: Government Investment Act

AB-2813 was introduced by Assembly Member Aguiar-Curry on 12-15-2024.

This bill would permit local governments to use funds from previously approved ACA 1 increases to property taxes for affordable housing programs including down payment assistance, first-time home buyer programs, and owner-occupied affordable housing rehabilitation programs.


This bill also modifies the ACA 1, allowing an exemption from the property tax increase for persons who are 65 years of age or older meeting certain qualifications.
