AB-2787 was introduced by Assembly Members Joe Patterson and Jim Patterson on 12-15-2024.

This bill would exempt repaired/reconstructed residential buildings impacted by a disaster, from compliance with current regulations for photovoltaic systems. They would be allowed to comply only with the requirements in effect at the time of the original construction of the building.
