AB 1957: Public Contracts: Best Value Construction Contracting

AB-1957 was introduced by Assembly Member Wilson on 1-29-2024.

This bill would authorize any county in the state to utilize the Best Value Construction Contracting Method Program. Previously, the pilot program was restricted to Alameda, Los Angeles, Monterey, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Yuba counties.


Under this program, counties may award individual annual contracts up to $3M for repair, remodeling, or other repetitive work to be done according to unit prices.
