UPDATE: This legislation was referred to the Committee on Housing and Community Development but no action has been taken since March 2023.

AB-1632 was introduced by Assembly Member Quirk-Silva on 2-17-23.

This bill would prohibit cities and counties from imposing requirements for a roof overhang on single family manufactured home structures unless the same size requirements would apply to single-family homes on the same lot. Roof overhangs would be limited to no more than 16" in cases where overhangs are required.
