Inactive: AB 1630: Student Housing

AB-1630 was introduced by Assembly Member Garcia on 2-17-23.

This bill would allow student, faculty, and staff housing on any property within 1,000 feet of a university campus. Permits for approval of these projects would be approved ministerially without discretionary review or a hearing. 20% of the units would need to be rented by students, faculty, or staff of the university.
