Updated: Jan 5, 2024

UPDATE: This legislation was re-referred to the Committee on Energy, Utilities, and Communications. It is scheduled for a hearing on January 9th.

SB 863 was introduced by Senator Allen on 2-17-23.

This bill was originally proposed to increase the amount of time a tenant has to cure a violation from 3-days to 7-days in cases of termination for cause. Now, it has been replaced with a bill related to votes required for items to appear on a ballot. It no longer relates to housing or tenant law.
