UPDATE: Approved and went into effect 8-4-21.
Ordinance 210657 was introduced on 6-1-21 by the Mayor.
This legislation revises the collection of Rent Board fees. Rather than being added to property tax bills, the Rent Board would instead send invoices to all owners who are subject to the fee. Failure to pay would result in invoiced penalties, rather than being added to the property tax statements.
