Ord 231219: Housing Production

UPDATE: This ordinance is under review with the Land Use and Transportation Committee.

Ordinance 231219 was introduced on 11-27-23 by the Mayor.

This legislation makes modifications to Ordinance 230446 (Constraints Reduction) including:

  • Creation of Section 121.1; Development of Large Lots in Priority Equity Special Use District.

  • Modifications to requirements for Second Buildings on Corner Lots and Through Lots; Section 134.f

  • Elimination of 207.G; Eligibility requirements for density exceptions in RH districts; Eliminated the requirement that property owners show they have owned the lot for a minimum of 1 year prior to seeking the density exception.

  • Elimination of the Corona Heights Large Residential Special Use District (Section 249.77)

  • Elimination of the Central Neighborhoods Large Residence Special Use District (Section 249.92)

  • Modifications to 317 related to historic buildings
