UPDATE: This legislation was approved by both chambers on 8-31-22 and sent to the Governor for signature on 9-13-22.
AB 1322 was introduced on 2-19-21 by Assembly Member Rivas.
This bill creates a process by which voter approved local housing laws which conflict with state housing laws can be reconciled by local governments to reduce the risk of litigation and attorney’s fees.
