SUSPENDED: Alcoholic Beverages: Hours of Sale

Updated: Sep 16, 2022

UPDATE: This legislation was passed by the Senate on 5-9-22 but was refused passage in the Assembly on 8-24-22.

SB 930 was introduced on 2-7-22 by Senator Weiner.

This bill was originally drafted to authorize the Department of Housing and Community Development to review, adopt, amend, and repeal standards in order to implement the Housing Accountability Act.

Since then, however, it has been radically altered and now relates to increasing the sale/gift/purchase of alcoholic beverages from 2am - 4am under a pilot program for Cathedral City, Coachella, Fresno, Oakland, Palm Springs, West Hollywood, and San Francisco.
