HOT: Public List of Violators

Ordinance 210015 was introduced on 1-15-21 by Supervisors Ronen, Peskin, Haney, Melgar, Mandelman, Mar, Stefani, Chan, Walton, and Safai.

Projects with violations beyond the scope of a permit, and mis-representing the scope of a project will now track the property owner, architect, engineer, and contractor associated with the project. So, if one person on the team mis-represents, all members of the team will be impacted. After 3 or more violations, the city will contact the licensing boards for each person and publish their names on a public list of shame.
