Conditional Use: Conversion of Automotive Uses

Updated: Sep 30, 2022

UPDATE: This legislation is under review. The Ordinance has been heavily revised. It now only eliminates the need for conditional use when converting automotive service stations to another use. All mention of housing and increased density has been removed from the legislation.

This Ordinance was approved by the Land Use and Transportation Committee on 7-11-22 but seems to have been resubmitted under Ordinance 220811.

Ordinance 21092 was introduced on 2-15-22 by Mayor Breed.

This legislation would eliminate the requirement for conditional use permits when converting an automotive service station to another use.
