Ordinance 210603 was introduced on 5-25-21 by Supervisor Preston. It is sponsored by Supervisors Peskin, Ronen, Mar, Walton, Chan, Melgar, Haney, Mandelman, and Safai.

This legislation expands commercial tenant eviction protections to include any business that was legally prohibited from operating due to a state or local health order related to Covid-19. Currently, only businesses with gross receipts equal to or below $25M worldwide, and excluding tenants/subtenants in spaces zoned for approved office use.
