AB 2601: Energy Savings Assistance: Appliances

UPDATE: This legislation was referred to the Committee on Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials on 3-21-24. It was amended and re-referred to the Committee on 4-4-24.

AB-2601 was introduced by Assembly Member Ramos on 2-14-2024.

This bill would require funds used as part of the Energy Savings Assistance Program to purchase energy efficient appliances only be used to replace natural gas appliances with electric appliances.
