AB-2277: Historic Resources

UPDATE: This legislation was amended in Assembly on 4-16-26.

AB-2277 was introduced by Assembly Member Schultz on 2-19-26.

This bill would allow properties that were on the National Register of Historic Places on/after January 20, 2025, to be automatically listed as on the California Register, even if the property was removed from the National Register of Historic Places.
