AB-2480: Student Housing Bonus

UPDATE: This ordinance was filed on 2-20-26 by Assembly Member Avila Farias. It was amended in assembly on 4-7-26.

AB-2480 was introduced by Assembly Member Avila Farias on 2-20-26.

This bill would require cities/counties to provide an additional density bonus to student housing projects where 24% of the total units are rented to lower-income students.
