UPDATE: This ordinance has been on hold with the Land Use and Transportation Committee since 9-11-23. Supervisor Peskin requested this matter remain open until 10-24-24. The extension was granted on 4-24-24.
Ordinance 230596 was introduced on 5-23-23 by Supervisors Peskin and Chan.
This legislation would require conditional use for residential development projects in RC, RM, and RTO districts that do not construct the maximum density allowed on the lot. Some exceptions apply in cases of unique lot limitations, or expansions of existing residential buildings meeting certain criteria.
