Suspended: AB 2202: Short-Term Rental Disclosures

UPDATE: This legislation was approved by the Committee on Business and Professions on 4-2-24 and routed to the Committee on Appropriations where it was placed in the suspension file on 4-10-24.

AB-2202 was introduced by Assembly Member Rendon on 2-7-2024. It is Co-Authored by Assembly member Berman.

This bill would require short-term rentals to disclose any additional fees, charges, or penalties related to cleaning tasks at the end of the tenant stay. This information would be required to appear on the website, application, or central platform used for the listing.
