APPROVED: Ord 231163: Fire Inspection Filings and 5' Access to Divided Lots

UPDATE: This ordinance was approved by the Board of Supervisors on 2-6-24 and signed by the Mayor on 2-16-24.

Ordinance 231163 was introduced on 11-7-23 by Supervisor Chan.

This legislation would require property owners to file copies of the 5-year fire sprinkler inspections, and the annual fire alarm inspections with the SF Fire Department.


It would also require that subdivided lots have a 5' pathway, open to the sky, to provide fire department access to emergency escape/rescue openings.
