AB 2513: Gas Stoves and Ranges: Warning Label

UPDATE: This legislation was referred to the Committee on Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials on 3-21-24. It was amended and re-referred to the Committee on 4-4-24.

AB-2513 was introduced by Assembly Member Pellerin on 2-13-2024 and is Co-Authored by Assembly Member Friedman.

This bill would require gas stoves manufactured on or after January 1, 2025 to bear a label setting forth a statement related to air pollutants that can be released by the stove. Sale of a stove without this label would be prohibited.
