AB 2085: Planning and Zoning: Community Clinic

UPDATE: This legislation was approved by the Committee on Natural Resources on 4-9-24. It was then referred to the Committee on Local Government.

AB-2085 was introduced by Assembly Member Bauer-Kahan on 2-5-2024.

This bill would require that applications for development of a community clinic providing reproductive health services be permitted in any zones allowing office, retail, health care, or parking as principally permitted uses. Further, these project would be allowed a streamlined planning review within 60 calendar days after the local agency has received the submittal.
