AB 1918: Solar-Ready Exemptions

UPDATE: This legislation was approved by the Committee on Business and Professions on 4-3-24 and referred to the Committee on Appropriations on 4-4-24.

AB-18918 was introduced by Assembly Member Wood on 1-24-2024.

This bill would exempt buildings constructed within the service territory of a public utility district, where the electricity is carbon free, from providing solar ready systems or to have photovoltaic and battery storage systems installed.
