AB 1820: Housing Development Fee Estimates

UPDATE: This legislation was referred to the Committee on Housing and Community Development and was amended on 4-4-24.

AB-1820 was introduced by Assembly Member Schiavo and Co-Authored by Assembly Member Grayson on 1-11-2024.

This bill would increase the time a local agency has to provide a preliminary estimate for project fees from 10 days to 20 business days. At the completion of the project, the public agency would have to provide the total sum of all fees within 20 business days (increased from 10 days also).
