Ordinance 210284 was introduced on 4-6-21 by Supervisors Mandelman, Safai, Stefani, Haney, Ronen, and Mar.

This ordinance creates the “Places for People” Program to encourage activation and use of city property and the public-right of way for parklets, including streamlined application processes, fee waivers, and modifications to public notice/hearings for these types of projects.
