Environmental Protection: Alameda County
Alameda County oversees plancheck for food services including Restaurant, Mobile Food uses, and Temporary Events. Catering and Home-Based Food Businesses are also reviewed and inspected by this Agency.

The Department of Transportation oversees permits for some work in the Public Right of Way including P-Job Infrastructure Permits, Curb/Gutter/Sidewalk work, Encroachments, obstructions, and Easements.
OPW Permits
The Office of Public Works oversees permits for some work in the Public Right of Way including Infrastructure, Sewer Laterals, Excavation, Curb/Gutter/Sidewalk work, and Non-Developmental Tree Permits.
