APPROVED: Ord 231130: Supplemental Inspections for Tall Buildings

UPDATE: This ordinance was approved by the Board of Supervisors on 1-23-24 and signed by the Mayor on 2-9-24.

Ordinance 231130 was introduced on 10-17-23 by Supervisor Peskin.

This legislation would require all buildings 15 stories or taller, built in or after 1998 to conduct supplemental inspections of windows and exterior glass surfaces every 5 years beginning in 2024.
