APPROVED: AB-42 Tiny Homes Fire Sprinklers

UPDATE: This legislation was approved and signed by the Governor on 10-10-23.

AB-42 was introduced by Assembly Member Ramos on 12-5-2022.

This Ordinance would prohibit a local agency from requiring fire sprinklers for any dwelling with a total floor area of less than 250 sf and on sites with up to 50 temporary sleeping cabins.
